For the last several years, our friends from England .... Prue & Paul Townsley .... come over to spend Paul's birthday with us.

Roy & I have established a  "Golden Rule"  regarding  "things to do"  during our visits to New Orleans.

Go to The Court Of Two Sisters  for lunch ........  Breakfast at Brennan's ..... and  Preservation Hall  for a Dixieland Jazz  "fix"

This cemetery dates back almost 200 hundred years  ( 1823 ).... and has been featured in numerous films & novels

Several  branches  of  Roy's  ancestors are buried here .... so we set about trying to find the grave sites.

The first photo is of the oldest  one of the group .... which dates at  1847  ( and makes this one of the earlier graves in the cemetery )
