Ernest Shackleton Born ... Feb.15, 1874 Died...Jan. 5, 1922
It was a very touching ceremony ...because all of us who are addicted to Antarctic travel truly do consider Shackleton to be "The Boss"
He was buried here with his head facing South ( towards Antarctica ) instead of East |

They were sort of curious ... so wandered on over and "got in my face"
