Our Hostess

She showed us how to operate the  "grain grinder"  while we visited the kitchen.        It's really hard work !!

We went up to the roof of her house ... and got a surprise !!!      She has to  grind corn .... but they've got a solar panel on the roof.

This is a tradition the 4 of us have , for our travels together.      At least  ONCE  on each trip , we have to have pizza & go to McDonalds

You can find all sorts of transport  mingling together on the streets.  

However .... the guy steering the bike with one hand & holding the child with the other .... did make me cringe a bit.

Wellllll ...... it's only  polite to thank them for the ride.

This Medina was full of the usual things one normally finds in a medina ...... but we came across a  few  new things .... such as :

A unique  Wood Decor  shop .....

A  top-of-the-line  Jewelry store ........

delightful   Wedding Baskets of Candy .........  and ...

These  Women.  Haven't seen this type of attire before.

What's so funny ???        Possibly my reaction to seeing  "tripe"  for the first time.

Given the number of native markets we've been to over the years ....

have no idea how I was lucky enough to miss seeing this until now  !!
