While we're pretty accepting & non-judgmental about the practices of other cultures  ... we couldn't  quite make ourselves watch the cock fights.

The oldest Tongkonan here is 700 years old.

Must belong to one very important guy.

( in most cases ... only the center pole contains the horns )

This is  the  Durian.     ( that  god-awful  smelly fruit I mentioned earlier ).

Cuttle Fish - saw 2 of them mating.

The lake contained 3 different  "non-stinging"  species of Jelly Fish.

They move in schools, across the lake at different depths ....

depending on the time of day or night.

While we were taking photos ... the King  drove out of the gates on his way to the Mosque ..... and gave us the  "Royal Wave".

He was driving the car himself.         We understand that except for state occasions ... he mostly does his own driving.
